– stand straight with your feet wider than shoulder-width distance
– point your toes outward at about 45 degrees
– slowly lower into a squat while making sure you keep your buns and core tight
– you may put your hands on your legs, stretched out in front of you, or clasped together at chest level
– go as low as you possibly can, slowly rise and repeat
