What if I told you getting your toddler to behave was as easy as correcting some of your own bad habits. There is a distinct change when your child reaches 13 to 15 months and difficult behaviour starts to set in. The best way of dealing with this? Don’t think you can change your toddler. The change needs to happen with you! And thats good news. Its far easier to correct your own behaviour than that of a toddler, believe me. And don’t worry, these are mistakes 99% of moms are making. Sometimes what we think is best for our toddler actually has the opposite effect.
6 Ways YOU Create Misbehaving Toddlers
1. Rewarding Whining

So you out shopping with your little one and the whining begins. The easy option would be to give in and give them the candy they are whining for. Well if you want the whining to continue, then go right ahead. If you want the whining to stop, don’t give in. By giving into the whining you are teaching your child that the whining will be rewarded – which is the last thing you want to do! By giving into the whining you are teaching him that he controls mom. Bad idea! If you give in to whining then you can expect a constant, whining toddler. The moment he doesn’t get what he wants he resorts to the never fail tactic of whining! So don’t do it mom, don’t reward whining.
